(Big Mac made his way to Sugar Cube Corner and was greeted at the door by Chimi)

Chimi: Well hi there, Mr. Mac! What can I do ya for? *smiles* You don't come around here often! You here for cupcakes?

Mac: *shakes his head*

Chimi: Ya here for cake? Muffins? Piiie~?

Mac: *shakes his head and point towards the back of the room where the door to the storage room was - knowing that was Frost's place at the bakery*

Chimi: .. Frost?

Mac: Eeyup.

Chimi: Well he's not here right now, sir, he's at the studio -- *gasps* Did he do something bad?! What'd he do now?

Mac: *doesn't answer Chimi and turns to head towards the studio*

Chimi: *calling after Big Mac as he walks away* Wait! You can't just leave me hanging! What's going on?!

(In the studio, Frost and Half-Note just finished closing their afternoon radio show)

Half: You heading to see Gala again? *putting their headphones back on the shelf*

Frost: Of course, she could be waking up any day now, and I need to be there when she does.

Half: *smiles a bit sadly* Well that's sweet of you, guess you can get going then; I can take the rest from here.

Frost: You sure? I know you don't like closing -

Half: It's fine, Frost - Gala's more important than closing shop and cleaning up. *halfheartedly laughs* Besides, I need something to fill my time.. Got nothing better to do.

Frost: ... Well, you can come with me again if you'd like? I hate the thought of leaving you without anypony to hang out with again; aren't you lonely?

Half: Nah, I'm fine Frost! Don't worry about me. *hears the bell to the door opening* Oh, somepony's here? *calls to the front* Sorry, we're closing! Whoever you are, you'll have to come back tomorrow!

Mac: Frost.

Frost: *recognizes Big Mac's voice and races to the front* Big Mac, what are you doing here? Is something wrong with Gala? ... Did she wake upp finally?!

Mac: Eeyup..

Frost: *eyes widen and he smiles* Really? How is she?! Let's go, what are we standing around here for - *gets stopped by Big Mac's front leg* What?

Mac: .... We have to talk first.

(Big Mac goes on to explain the situation to Frost. Half-Note watched as the excitement in his eyes shifted into pain and loss within moments of Big Macintosh explaining to him what's happening)

Half: Do you think she'll ever break out of it? Like, maybe her memories will trigger again someday?

Mac: Probably not - So, you still wanna go see her?

Frost: .... Yeah. Yeah, I do. Half-

Half: I know, I got it. Don't worry.. Just go see her. I get it. *smiles sadly and returns to the back room*

Frost: *follows Big Mac back to the hospital*

(When Frost and Mac enter the room, Frost sees Gala sitting up in bed talking to the doctor. As soon as Cheerilee see's Frost, she gallops over)

Cheerilee: Frost, dear.. hi.

Frost: Hi.. *watching Gala* H-how is she?

Cheerilee: She's fine, besides the... Well, I assume Big Mac caught you up on the situation?

Frost: *nods slowly*

Gala: Hey, Frost!

Frost: *ears perk up and he stares at Gala* You... you remember me?

Gala: Of course I do! How could I forget you? *laughs*

Frost: *smiles again and exchanges looks at everypony, then joins her side at the bed* I'm so relieved...

Gala: I didn't expect to see you here; How've you been?

Frost: *tenses up again - realizing what's going on* W-what do you mean?

Gala: Well I havn't seen you since your sister was in my class, or at least; that's all I can seem to remember... How've you been? Did you ever get that DJ job you wanted?

Frost: *looks at Big Mac and Cheerilee and sighs a bit, but remembered what Big Mac told him and smiles back at her* Yeah.. Yeah Gala, I did. And Sprinkles is doing great...

Gala: That's wonderful! Despite her attitude, she is such a smart little filly! Tell her I say hi, will you?

Frost: O-of course.. *walks back to stand beside Cheerilee*

Cheerilee: *whispering so only Frost could hear her* I'm so sorry Frost..

Frost: *whispering back* She remembers me.. but she doesn't remember we dated at all.. Every date we went on, everywhere I took her, everything we did - She doesn't remember.

Cheerilee: Well.. at least she remembers you in general, that's not an entire loss..

Frost: No, no I guess not...

Big Macintosh explains the amnesia to Frost and when he gets there, Gala remembers who he is, but does not remember that they were dating at all.. At least she knows who he is still, right?
