According to the Japanese Legend "Akai Ito" The gods tie an invisible red string around the little fingers of those who are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. The connected individuals are soulmates / destined lovers. The string may stretch or tangle but it may never ever break...

But for me, throughout your life, you'll have five strings connected to your fingers....

1 Your Soulmate / Red String - The one you're destined to be with.

2. Best Friend / Yellow String (Index Finger) - Your best friend... No matter how shitty he/she is. You just can't remove him/her from your life. Because you love them so.

3. The Lesson Giver / Blue String ( Middle Finger) You've learned a lot from him/her. And you just can't forget him/her... because what you are right now? They're a big part of it...

4. Biggest What? / Green String - (Ring Finger) Biggest What? Because you two didn't had the chance to be together, because of timing... Timing is a bitch. But deep in your heart you know... You two are connected.

5. First Love / Purple String (Thumb) - You just can't forget your first love.
