The Deep Ones were another challenge to illustrate simply. There were the Deep Ones I wanted to draw and the ones described by Lovecraft... ultimately Lovecraft and I compromised. This is a Deep One, with Asenath (from The Thing On The Doorstep) and of course Dagon in the background.
