kids these days and their atomic bombs...i think this might actually be one of my favorite iggy and lemmy pictures i've drawn
it describes perfectly what i believe most of their relationship to be like
kind of calvin and hobbes-y (like that dancing thing i made a million years ago), with iggy as calvin and lemmy as hobbes
also because iggy looks REALLY CUTE all hunched over and skinny like that

and most likely neither will anyone else on the planet
THE FUZZY FEELY HEADCANON-Y SIDE
lemmy is slow, but quite wise if he has time to be, whereas iggy is impulsive and paranoid
and iggy is more quick-minded and intelligent to make up for lemmy's slowness
iggy also makes up for lemmy's physical disabilities (unable to walk or see straight, unusually small, etc.), constantly helping him throughout the day, and tailoring most of his inventions to lemmy's needs
lemmy also can tell exactly how iggy is feeling with one look, and knows immediately how to deal with him in one of his fits
they've invented their own sign language

and lemmy makes up for iggy's mental problems. like you said with his mental break downs, but also (i see iggy having a dangerously low self esteem) helping iggy stand up for him self (while lemmy is happy with who he is) and iggy gets nervous in public situations so lemmy helps calm him downΒ
