ah, that red thread part is author's request. its symbolize their heart still connected even though hate each other, thats because boruto. i don't know if they will remarried or something, she didn't tell me...
and about the 'cracked background', its symbolize divorce. but, i cannot draw the atmosphere really well.

I looked at the link, but it is not in english. Also I find it hard to believe that Boruto would drive them apart. Also I don't think Naruto or Hinata are capable of hateing anyone let alone each other. Also the red thread to me would mean there was still hope. Also wouldn't saperateing be the first step?
