having computer issues. xP got some virus or something that won't go away. searched online and supposedly malwarebytes can get rid of it but whenever this virus or w/e it is rears its ugly head, malwarebytes stops working.

Malwarebytes is indend good. It got rid of a virus on my laptop. The virus basically made itself a start up program and blocked any other programs from running, including my anti-virus lol.

Malwarebytes destroyed the little shit. XD

yeah thats what the one I have is doing, but it made malwarebytes not work so i cant get rid of it >_< my antivirus doesnt do anything i even tried the windows malicious software removal tool. Idk what else to try...

The virus I had was making a fake report about my pc being infected. Have you tried going in safe mode and running malware? I also had to get another program. Basically I used one program to stop the virus from starting up automatically then used Malwarebytes to erase it completely.
