This is my [re-submitted] version of what I believe is Buttercup's rare gentle expression. Only those she's closest to or those she has romantic feelings for (Ace, Mitch, perhaps Butch!) have been able to catch a glimpse of this cute "girly" side of Buttercup.

In my head canon based off MTH's storyline, this is a photo of Buttercup on her first "real" date with Mitch. Bubbles insisted on helping Buttercup get ready, but the only thing Buttercup allowed was the clip in her hair, which helped show off her often overlooked pretty features. I guess Mitch got his camera out at just the right moment to capture Buttercup in this state.

Anyway, I apologize if it's messy, it's a quick drawing. The background is just one of my own photos that I photoshopped the crap out of because I suck at drawing my own backgrounds xD
