I can understand german words here and there, but can not have a conversation in german, far from it. lol
Normal norsk or bokmΓ₯l? That IS normal norsk. 
Well, most people speak dialects in this country, but write in bokmΓ₯l. Just a few write in 'nynorsk' which is the second official written norwegian form.
