Description in the vein of my other Arlecchina& HarleQ pics, here another family moment to "celebrate " *snort* my page reached 3456 pg views days ago.
--------------background story-------------
due to sleeping arrangements the "bedtime story" takes place in the mini living room, where usually HarleQ is the one who reads the book to her daughter tonight she was so tired that Arlecchina took the book and finished the story, a fairy tale of course. Perrault! what else? the 'lil circle thing was added in a hurry, and it doesn't depicts any particular fairy tale but it seems somebody is having a nightmare.
----------------------------------------------------

well when I finished the pic and looked attentively to the thorns I saw it so horrible "lapsus linguae" like that if it weren't for the time I spent colouring it I would have most probably destroyed the pic add a bad quality photo and poor skills with painter program and you have this
not overly happy with it maybe I will re do the whole thing other day, but it won't be any time soon; I am gonna be absent of the net for a while...

and I know I suck at drawing ....

on a side note: no, I am not addicted to the blur button on painter, I only happen to be a bad photographer.

thanks, you are too kind, I noticed we share a love for those overly bright colors that would look "wrong" in real life everyday clothing

Ya know what? I was watching The Ten Commandnts dvd the other day, and on the commentary it was brought to my attention that the director chose deliberately to not uphold certain details of accuracy in how he represented the ancient Egyptians. He declined to have the actors wear that cool black eyeliner like the Egyptians would have just because it would've seemed wierd at the time, and also, the monuments were not painted....pillars, the outsides of buildings, even though everything would've been painted! He didn't want the backgrounds to pop out more than the actors...
-But in real life, Egypt at the time of Moses (not the same time of Ramses as is popularily and erroneously thought) would've been very colourful....colours are cool!

Hmm... I prefer Hans Christian Anderson, but Perrault's tales are very good too. Don't worry, the blur gives HarleQ and Arlecchina sort of imaginative feel. That's my opinion, anyhow.

me too, Perrault was more of a langage choice over content.
thank for sharing your opinion and giving a nice explanation to the bluriness
