I know that I sadly belong in the wrong end of the fandom and please forgive me for such and also for my upcoming comment.

I still can't believe that a beautiful, cute princess such as you Luna became toilet trained or whatever in cannon. If I were writing from the show and saw how much love you were receiving, I would pull back the curtain and reveal that you get to everyponies dreams by your true body remaining in your room in the castle, but in diapers. When that's revealed, I would have say that it's alright to wear them. Maybe even then tie it into another episode where Twilight is just so stressed that she remembers those comments from Luna and thus puts on a diaper and becomes regressed for one day.
