Personality: Cheery, it’s hard to get her down. If she somehow finds herself in a less than joyous mood, it won’t take long for her to get back on her feet. Arrogant, she thinks her abilities are not to be bested. Caring, she genuinely wants to help others just for the sake of seeing someone smile. She feels she got dealt a better set of cards than most and likes brightening a person’s day. Trusting, she believes that others will be as honest with her as she is with them, never looking for ulterior motives. Delusional? Possibly.

History:

    Anastasie grew up working in a forge. This is not because she was a skilled craftsman. No, she ran errands and did small tasks for the blacksmith that worked there. In return, she was permitted to lodge in the blacksmith’s loft. It was a cozy little room and it had a nice view, but it would have been a lonely experience if not for the stories. That is, the stories she read to Chloe by firelight every night. Legends of times long past, when wars were waged and Gijinka performed amazing endeavors in battle. This was a very exciting notion to the girl who felt her current life to be a waste of her talents. It was difficult to be satisfied when she had visions of heroes braving the wilderness dancing in her head.

    When she was old enough, she said her goodbyes and set out on her own in the Silver Mountains. It was there that Anastasie learned how to roll with the punches… and where she learned she had a distinct edge in battle. With her Drought ability and Fire-typing, she had an overwhelming advantage over the Ice-types that dominated the area. It didn’t matter that she was inexperienced; the Drought alone could make a tough opponent sweat. However, she mistook this for her own skill. Look at them buckle under my power! What a great battler I must be! she would say.

    Being the green and shortsighted individual she is, Anastasie didn’t take into consideration that the world wasn’t just made up of Ice-types and Fairy-types. She learned this the hard way when a traveler from the Foglands was visiting the mountains and stopped in for a friendly match. When she finally dusted the flurries out of her hair, she knew she had to find a way to become better. Because she would get better. The heroes in her stories never got knocked flat on their faces.



Familiar's Name: Chloe (KLOW-ee)

Familiar's Personality: Aloof, she believes herself above most people around her and won’t make much of an attempt to interact. Prideful, she will not ask for or will outright refuse help from others. Jealous, she does not like sharing anything she considers to be “hers.” Mistrustful, she will not accept anyone of her own accord. She may come to like the people that her partner has become attached to from their bond. Loyal, she will fiercely defend those that have gained her allegiance. Overall, she is a better ally than friend.

More On the Species: Its’ purple and pink fur is very soft; Cold to the touch, it keeps much of the intense burning within from escaping. Heat exudes from furless portions, raising the temperature of the surrounding area; When aggressive, so much heat pours out that the air around the skin bursts aflame. With keen ears and sensitive whiskers, this Pokémon has an excellent grasp of its surroundings and is not likely to be caught off guard.

Extras:
Anastasie typically rises and sets with the sun. Staying awake after dark can make her lethargic.
She's not a fan of large bodies of water. Where she grew up they were a rare encounter, so she never learned how to swim.
She enjoys spicy foods best.
