Firstly I suppose I best start by saying what others have already-- I find the reflection quite well done, both in its strength and its purpose in the photo. Not possessing a level copy I cannot be positive, but I also feel putting this angle on the image increased its overall presentation. What with it now having varying amounts of window visible on the sides, and it just bettering the main two windows, too (although I find it difficult to put that feeling to words ).
And the battle of new and old is only half the war-- the other half is silly people who have new technology do what it does worst: imitate old technology, with results usually being not too pleasant.

That middle reflection is fantastic. My only thought is that the other two are rather blurry in comparison, but the way that middle one lines up more than makes up for it in my eyes.
Well done, Andy. :3

Thank you!
I tried to capture that reflection in the middle alone to create some sort of focal point if you know what I mean - I fail at explaining things.

It makes sense! As a second thought, it could be a good thing the other two are blurry. It makes for a kind of transitional feel from the old to the new.

Extraordinary work, Andy! Simplicity speaks volumes. One of the most ingenious incorporation of reflections I've ever seen

As I said on flickr, this is very well composed. The reflection of the old building on the window is such a nice detail. :>

Wow, the contrast between the old building and the new one was amazingly well displayed, Andy! Quite interesting angle, as well. Great idea, great execution!

Aye, the third time I write this comment.
As I said earlier, I love the way the two eras of architecture clash against each other. The black metal bars and straight lines of the modern building work extremely against the curves of the old building. The angle you used looks much better than if you had just taken a straight shot, if you ask me.

I totally agree with your analysis. Being too lazy to write a full critique I shall just outline a few important points. Firstly the usage of color is very interesting. The image could not be done in black and white with the same effect. Kudos on the camera angle. It makes the image really dynamic and adds interest to the otherwise linear image. The tone acheived is commendable and the reflection is artfully acheived, The border adds to the power of the image. The only suggestion i can give is to take the shot a bit earlier in the day so as to increase the saturation a tad bit. Otherwise a commendable effort. Cheers
