Bite - The target is bitten with viciously sharp fangs. This may also make the target flinch.
  Roar - In the wild, Roar causes the target Pokémon to flee if they are of a lower level, and the battle ends.
Dig - The user of Dig will burrow its way underground on the first turn, disappearing from view and becoming invulnerable to most attacks. On the second turn, Dig deals damage.  Dig can be used to escape from caves.

PERSONALITY
   Positives

- Excitable: He loves to experience new things and meet new people. Nearly anything can brighten James' day, from nice conversation with a friend to a delicious treat.

- Friendly: He loves to meet new people. He doesn’t care what age, background, or social standing one has. He very much enjoys being surrounded by friends. In any relationship, he will pour his whole heart.

- Social: Deep conversations are enjoyable for James, though small talk is just as nice. He loves to learn and try to understand how others view the world.

- Observant: He is surprisingly observant and will notice changes that most mon wouldn’t. Being as happy-go-lucky and silly as he is, he is still insightful to others feelings as well as perceptive to the environment around him.

-  Fast Learner: It doesn't take him very long to pick up on new skills. He will typically start a hobby and once it's mastered or he's grown bored of it, he'll move on to the next.

- Respectful: James grew up working hard and has learned to respect others. The only type of mon that he could say that he doesn’t like are blatantly lazy mon.

- Independent: James takes pride in being able to take care of himself without having to rely on others for help. He can be independent to a fault though and is extremely hesitant to accept help from others. Because of his strong independence, he hates to be micromanaged, but it’s one of those areas where he just has to grit his teeth and bear it.

- Sensitive: Given his rough background he acts tough, but since most of his actions are run on emotion he can actually be quite sensitive. This can be good because he’s more aware of what others feel, but since he tends to bottle up his feelings those unexpressed emotions will fester.

  Negatives

- Easily Bored: He craves freedom and creativity in his life and jumps from one hobby to another, but he can also get bored easily if he finds himself in a rut. As long as he’s entertained or kept busy he is a very dedicated worker. If he does get bored he can tend to be a bit mischievous and do stupid stunts, pull pranks, and other troublesome things to add a little spark to life.

- Low Self-Confidence: Being such a social canine much of James’ self-confidence rides on what others think of him. Now not everyone will like him, he understands that, but he very much likes being liked and feels hurt when he’s offended someone else.

- Can’t Say No: He wants to be liked by others so much that he doesn’t realize that he can’t say “no” even when his own well-being is at stake. James would rather go wildly out of his own way than to feel like someone was disappointed in him. Now, he's not so much of a pushover that he'll let anyone mock him, but he will take on extra work if he thinks it will make someone else happy.
- Needs to be Accepted: James wants to be loved so badly that he will push his own happiness and dreams aside if he thinks it will make his friends or family happy. If he does not receive positive feedback of social interaction, for as little as a day or two, he will feel lonely.

- Bottled up: A major flaw of his is that he tends to bottle up his negative emotions which cause his rare outbursts to be massive. On these occasions, James will get angry and anxious.

- Overthinks Things: Even when things seem to have a simple answer James will lose sleep trying to think of ways to resolve a problem. Usually he makes worse case scenario conclusions.

HISTORY
     James was born second out of a litter of three on the island. His older brother was named Nick and the younger Will. Their parents, Braun and Amy, had only expected one kitten but were more than happy to be blessed with triplets.

  Their father was a big burly Krookodile mon, but despite his intimidating figure, he'd push his sons to be better and reward them with treats every now and then. Their mother was a strong and sweet Arcanine and to them, she was the best cook that ever existed.

  Once, when he was still a young Pokecat, a wild Bidoof scampered into its tunnel with a cherished green cabbie hat of his. Like an idiot he rashly squished himself into the feral mons tunnel and crawled down after the Bidoof. He got a nasty bite out of his ear, but he also got his hat back.

As the triplets grew older, their father taught them how to hunt. James was more than eager to hunt down little bidoof varmints after what one of them did to his ear. Braun was very strict with his boys now that they were learning these important skills. Even though hunting was enjoyable, the Krookodile made it clear that supplying food to the family was not a game to be taken lightly. The three boys were trained up to be strong fighters. All the hunting was good agility practice and built up his muscles which helped prepare him for his future job.

After many years James became a trainer and he takes his job very seriously. A Pokecat in his position is responsible for the safety of all innocent cats. This great responsibility fills him with a sense of pride. He works hard every day to someday become an officer. His dream, even if not attainable, is to maybe even be a Champion.
