Trained in many combat arts as a means of self defense, giving her a fairly extensive knowledge of hand-to-hand combat, both unarmed, and with blades, and firearms. She became highly involved in athletics and academics, which she had high marks in both prior to her entering the Academy, especially in military history and combative tactics considering the turn of events in the world.

She is equipped with a custom armor suit system that is capable of protecting her from projectiles, blaster bolts, and low powered energy blasts without her needing to actively defend herself. It has some built in energy shielding and enhances her already impressive reflexes and strength. The armor can deploy to fully cover her form, or retract into a more familiar Saiyan-esque type form. A gray bodysuit underneath that regulates her thermals and temperature in any climate. Both are removable.

Physically augmented via various ways. See below to get an idea of changes to her skills:

Nanotech: Vision enhancements across the spectrum up to 2x normal. Tactile and other senses have also been enhanced to 2x norm to increase battlefield awareness. Skin has the ability to harden to an almost impenetrable alloy. Nervous system has been improved to at least 2x human and now Saiyan norm to process the additional information flooding her mind. To provide defense against EMP discharges, she can absorb the EMP burst to a degree, with her cybernetics shielded against what she cannot absorb. Also can absorb amounts of electrical current and store it within her body for release through a second variant of the Bioelectical Magnetic Discharger, or BMD from her right arm. Her left hand houses a small magnetic generator, allowing her to move metallic items or to hang from a steel beam.

Whereas Dustine’s version allows her the ability to stun up to twenty feet, and to possibly short out electronics, Josie’s version is a more powerful but untested version. The ability to absorb energy direct gives extra power to her weapon, increasing the range and combat capability to twenty five feet.

With enough internal stored energy, she can form an encapsulated energy sphere in her hands with reduced range at a target, causing great damage to organic or cybernetic targets. Her right provides the electrical wattage to fill the sphere, her left creates a magnetic form for it. However, there is a major drawback. The amount of energy needed would short out her cybernetics, and possibly strain her organic body to levels beyond its ability to heal as incredible heat is generated. Also, she would have to absorb a very high amount of power, adding further strain.

Cybernetics: Joints have been replaced with cybernetic equivalents to provide her with greater response speed, agility and shock absorption from a fall. Skeletal structure has been sheathed in a neo-Titanium alloy in order to provide support for her cybernetic joints when making rapid battlefield maneuvers, also providing a highly impressive ability to take a pounding. Also provides her with great stability for nearly any weapon system, giving her great accuracy at any range. Combined with her extensive training by her grandparents, this has made her very much one of the best hand-to-hand fighters around, with a blade or without.

Genetics: Regenerative abilities have been greatly improved to heal any wound within minutes, depending upon the severity of the wound. Sickness is foreign to her now. Musculature and organs have been strengthened in order to survive any pounding she may take. The muscles themselves are denser than human and now Saiyan norm, which accounts for her weight being higher even though her external form looks very little different from before. This adds to her strength and speed greatly, to at least 2x at usual speed, with a max of 5x human and now Saiyan norm when under and adrenaline rush. Her pain tolerance has been improved greatly, giving her the ability to keep from falling to pain in any combat. It is unknown how much this enhances her abilities when she is powered up in Super Saiyan form.

Brief Physical Description:
The woman looking back at her bore some resemblance to her, but the spikes of hair on her head, with black and plantum blond streaks, and the slightly narrower face also looked like a strangers. She raised a hand, and lightly touched her cheek in wonder, and her reflection did the same. "Wow...that changed a lot..." She said softly.
Josie didn't pay any attention to them as she brushed the two bangs out of her face, and then caressed the few tresses that hung over her shoulder. "So long..." She muttered, and then stepped forward a bit, eyes widening as more of her changes became noticable. Her bust gained nearly two cup sizes it seemed, her waist was narrower due to her hips having expanded slightly, and she could clearly see tone lines of her abs through the suit.

She reached up and slipped the vest off her shoulders as she lowered herself to her knees, cupping her hands to take a drink of water, and then another, before pouring some water over her face and chest, sighing as the cool water poured over her.

Josie continued to look at herself in the water, before thinking aloud, "I have to see..." Inwardly, she was glad there weren't any men around. Otherwise she'd have to find some way to hide the bodies...or just incinerate them.

She reached up to the zipper of her suit between her breasts, and pulled it down slowly until it stopped below her navel. She pulled it open and off her shoulders, letting it hang around her waist as she looked at her body in awe and wonder.

Tone lines were formed over all of her muscle groups; yet she still looked very slender, not bulky. Only her biceps and shoulders had some extra mass, and that was offset by the rest of her body. She traced her fingers lightly over her stomach as her eyes looked herself over, resting upon her signs of femininity. Small nipples on small areola capped full, and, as Shiraga said, firmer breasts. Josie was amazed at how she looked.

"I'm beautiful..." She murmured. She'd always felt she was cute, even pretty. But this woman was beautiful.

Fourth character of my project is Josie!! ^ 3 ^
I was a little nervous to approach drawing Josie because of her armor. I didn't feel like I'd have as much artist-lenience with her as I had with the others... I wanted to draw everyone's characters in armor-esc outfits (though that may change whenever I feel like it. >_>; ) because the archive is supposed to be a compilement of their battle data. Like... like as if this was the information of each fighter stored at HQ.

But Josie's armor is already fairly set, and I didn't want to 'modify' it like I did with the others.

I weighted my options between creating an entirely new Saiyan-armor outfit for Josie, or just drawing her as she is for weeks (literally). Ultimately I decided to go with the outfit she already had.

I'm quite proud of how she came out.
in all the reference shots of her, Josie has really big lips, so I tried to incorporate that into my depiction of her.

things I like: the pose, expression, and her HAIR!!! I really had fun with her hair and her lips. her eyes came out nice as well. I also like her hands, the curve of her tail, and I think my attempt at her armor came out okay. ^__^

things I dislike: her breasts seem a little large, and she's got thunder-thighs. that tends to happen to girls when I try to make them curvy and sexy. >__o
maybe I should just stop trying to draw 'sexy'. =__=;;
I also don't like the leg that's tucked up. it just looks off...
I couldn't get it to look any better then that though.

over all, I think I'm really proud of the flow and the feeling she gives off.
