Description
finished.My character Kaylee, leaning against a wood and stone fence. Behind her is the house she lives in. It's suppose to look wired and out of porpotion because the house has a mind of it's own.
Tools: Bristol
colored in water color and reg. colored pencils. Inked in pen.
Used my scanner

I really like how the background came out! You definitely didn't slack on details. The coloring job is good too! I kinda want to say the fence looks a little out of place though. I think it's because the fence is horizontal and everything else is at an angle. I still really like the background though. Good job!

Yeah, I don't think anyone really can without a ruler. Your lines look pretty straight though. I agree with you about perspective too. They definitely suck! I still can't draw them very well.

Good job, the folds on the clothes are excellent, and her hair is awesome. Its also really good to see an OC that doesn't have your typical button nose!
I know you said the house was supposed to look a bit out of proportion, but I think you should try some perspective drawings, because the rendering of your surfaces is lovely. It would be interesting to see you apply these to a drawing with accurate perspective.
[link] and [link] are excellent tutorials on perspective, and can teach you alot more than you would learn in schools or an art class.
