YAY!! Finally finished Nerezza in Enchantix form. Nerezza is my main Winx Club OC, the Fairy of Dark Lightning (Or Dark Fairy of Lightning). The design is the same as I posted a while ago with the exception of the wings... totally remade those from scratch... and went heavy on the shinies, I know... But hey ^^. I could say that making the wings was fun BUT it was a real pain... well, the lines anyways, painting and the shinies was fun...... Anyways.....

I should add, I bend a bit the rules to get Nerezza her Enchantix since, well... much like what happened to Bloom, the people of her homeplanet were all killed or sent to Oronyx, where they died as well *coff coff, so her trial to obtain Enchantix is compromised. She acquires is by accepting that the other Fairies are her people now, so her sacrifice to defend them triggers her Enchantix... NOTE: Nerezza can only use LIGHT attacks in this form and none of her DARK ones... it represents her PURE LIGHT form.

NOTE: I had posted alternative wings for her enchantix, but these ones won the poll, so the other ones are gone. Also, I had a problem with the wings I was planning for Believix (not working for me) so I'm adapting the alternative wings to Believix... Just to let you know.

" Chapter 3:
After her "date" with Taylor, Nerezza returned to the Cloud Tower and Dark Magic classes. As the days went by, Undea became rather attached and close to Nerezza. After all, that was Visa's original plan...

Visa wanted to use the Dark Fairy to help them capture the other fairies from Alfea so that she could have her revenge on their self-claimed leader, Lumen the Fairy of Moonlight who was able to see through her illusions and had shamed her on several previous occasions. Using a "fellow" Fairy as bait, the others would come running.

One day, Visa and Undea told Nerezza of their plans, telling her that it was just a "lesson in humility and good manners". Failing to detect the underlining meaning, Nerezza thought that would be a good idea considering it was the Fairies' lack of tact and respect for the Demon world that had caused them to destroy Aro's, her pet Demon Panther Cub, nest and family. And so, Nerezza was in on the plan.

Working together with Undea and Visa, Nerezza sent a distress call to Alfea, saying some witches had trapped her in some ruins in the dark forests. The fairies came to the rescue, mostly instructed by headmistress Faragonda. Once they got there, Nerezza cast her Electric Wave spell, stunning the fairies for long enough for the witches to activate a trap, one in which the fairies could not use their powers (special magic draining curse).

When the Fairies were at the witches' mercy did Visa reveal her true colours. Her true intention from the very begining was to attack the fairies, and possibly killing them... or at least maiming a few (her words). Nerezza wasn't up to that particular game-change. Growing up surrounded by demons, she had experienced first hand cruelty and the stench of death and torture. All the time she was in Oronyx, she never let herself be corrupted by the vileness of the world. She never thought she could find such darkness in the light, but if she had survive it in Oronyx, she would not fall prey to it in Magix. Nerezza stood up to Visa, protecting the fairies.

Undea hesitated... Despite being all a part of Visa's plans, Undea actually became friends with Nerezza and she didn't want to fight her. Visa convinced her and half-heartedly, Undea attacked. However, water and electricity do not mix, and Undea quickly fell under Nerezza's thunders. It was only Visa now... or so Nerezza thought... At a flight of her fingers, Visa revealed that she had "recruited" , either by threat, share of hatret against faires, o manipulation through her illusions; just about every other witch in their year at the Cloud Tower, and they were all surrounding her. Visa told Nerezza that she would share her fellow Fairies's fate and ordered the witches to attack.

Against Visa and Undea, and even if they were 3 or even 5, Nerezza would probably be able to defeat them easily. If they were 10, she would have a harder time but would probably come out victorius... THe witches surrounding her were nearly 2 dozens and Nerezza suspected that she might not be able to handle them all, even with the Charmix power-up. But something Visa said hit her in her core. She had called her a fairy, not a dark fairy, just a fairy... That got Nerezza thinking... for the 10.5 seconds allowed to her before all the witches stroke her down.

Nerezza never saw herself as a fairy. She never saw herself as a demon either. She was something in between, mixed race... not one or the other and not truly belonging to either world. But suddenly, she was called a Fairy and that made her realise, more than being able to live a normal life, she could live a normal live as a Fairy...

She fought against the witches with all her might and power trying to defend the fairies that, though surprised by her change of sides at first, started to cheer on her. But cheering wasn't enough and the witches were too many... Only one door was open for Nerezza in her point of view... a door she refused to open because she might not be able to shut it down again. Still, with all the fairies' lives at stake, she had to try... And so, Nerezza activated the Demon Eye...

The surge of dark power nearly caused her to black out in pain and hurt as she instinctively cast Shadow Spark, her spell originally gunning for every living thing around her. But Nerezza kept her cool and used all her strength to try and control it... She absorbed part of the energy into herself so the attacks would not be deadly, and she strained to direct the non-letal dark lightnings to the witches and not hte fairies, as the spell originally made no distinction between friend of foe... Seconds later, the Demon Eye closed and Nerezza collapsed into the ground. All the witches had fallen, but were alive, and all the fairies were safe, though still imprisoned. Nerezza tried to reach the cage, use the last of her power to free the fairies but her path was blocked... By Visa.

The master Illusionsit had been using a Mirror Image while she watched from the safety of the Shadows. In Nerezza's strain to control the Shadow Spark, she had missed her. Now Visa towered over her weakened form, kicking her in the dirt for daring to turn on her and saying that she would deal with the dark fairy before handling the rest of them....

Then there was a bright light, and it enveloped Nerezza completely, blinding everyone in the room... When it cleared enough, Visa was staring back at an upright Nerezza but she wasn't just a fairy, her sacrifice by using the Demon Eye to save her fellow fairies had awarded her the Enchantix form and she was not only recharged of her energies, she had a bunch of new tricks up her sl... gloves... Nerezza was able to cast Charmed Spark on Visa before she could replace herself with a Mirror Image and she was knocked across the room, paralysed by the spell's effects. Nerezza then moved to the cage and, touching it with both hands, her electricity shattered it. The Fairies were free.

Nerezza took the lead and took flight, followed by all the other fairies, and left the ambush site. Once outside, Aro (who had escaped the Cloud Tower) joined her and, having nothing left in the Cloud Tower, she flew with the Fairies to Alfea. She was greeted by the Headmistress wo whom the other fairies told what had happened. As they were giving their report, Nerezza reverted back to basic fairy form and collapsed on the grounds.

Awakening later in the infirmary, Faragonda told her that her Enchantix is unstable because it is a form of pure light and Nerezza is not used to it. With that, she offered to enroll her at Alfea so she can learn to use and control her new found light powers and, she agreed.

It was already the end of the scholar year, so she would start after summer vacations (she was allowed to stay on the campus since she didn't have anywhere else to go). As the new year started, she ended up sharing a dorm with a second year... one that reminded her of Undea, but surely asked a LOT of questions.....
