The features ere are really eggagerated (did I even spell that right?) I mean the eyes especially - their difference in size and the direct gaze . . . it's almost abstracted, and it works *really well* here.

oh my... thank you sooooo much! i've only started drawing severus fairly recently because i was pretty convinced that deviantart was already saturated with brilliant snape artists and i was always a tad insecure that my work wouldn't be up to par. so hearing that from you indeed means a lot!
