As I understand it, Torii Gates are supposed to mark the passage from the spiritual world to the world we live in.I have to say it seemed like I was in another world that day. It rarely snows in Alabama, and when it does it's just a light dusting. We ended up with about 5 inches of snow.
It was a wonderful day. Seeing things I've seen a million times in a new way
I loved it!! Haha hence all the snow pictures

ooo lol I have been there.. only once though.. I love the rose garden. I think I may need to get a few buddies to ride up and see if I can get a few good shots. I'll drop you a line if I head that way. Maybe we can meet up and shoot for a while
