For my half of an art trade with Eugene, she asked me to do a scene from a fanfic she wrote called Crevasse . I really liked the story and there were a lot of things that caught me about it. This isn't a scene taken directly from it, but more a visual interpretation of Zelgadis thinking about Lina as he's trapped, tired and very battered, in a giant crevice in a glacier. I wanted to do a Zel/Lina pic anyways. nn [Even though there's Xel/Zel scenes in it I want to draw. oo; I'll probably end up doing a couple sometime.] I just got my Copics so of course I wanted to draw with them! I took a different approach with this pic though - I drew Lina, Zelgadis, and the background separately. Then I put them together in Photoshop, then went into Painter and worked on it a little. I count it as a digital piece since the point was to use my art as stock to work with on the comp.

It's big because I did the background very large, and needed to keep it large so that Zel and Lina were still at a size where they weren't lost. Sorry for the download time. nn; I'm uploading larger separate versions of Zel and Lina so that people can see them better.

It was really fun doing the trade, and very nice working with such a good fic. Thanks for trading, Eugene!
