"Goddamnit Obito!" is like my opening line for every chapter these days. It hurts especially bad since I really like Obito, whenever he isn't mucking up everything in the Naruto-verse or being just plain annoying

Hmm, sounds familiar I used to like him quite a lot and I still feel strangely proud when one of his evil plots works out, but at the same time I just want him to see sense already. It's a mix of emotions, haha!

It's strange because on the one hand I want him to be a capable and less annoying villain who's actually threatening, but on the other hand, as much as having him be "talk-no-jutsud" into defeat would be contrived, I still want him to be redeemed.

Mixed feelings yo! (though that's stil not stopping me from drawing him plenty, hur hur)

Yes, exactly! And Kakashi should be the one to do it, somehow. I'm a little tired of how 'perfect' Naruto is, Kishi is kind of forgetting about his other characters. 

I think there may have been some foreshadowing in Gaiden that Kakashi and Obito may end team up eventually (as they were supposedly a good team together, something that was never referred to afterwards) so I think there is a good chance of him being talk-no-jutsu'd at this point. 

I also kind of expect Madara will end up stealing the Juubi's powers from him and become the ultimate bad guy, too. Would be nice, because then they all have to work together to beat him<3
