Description
A run cycle of a cat. When cats run, they push off with both back legs at once, as opposed to one at a time like dogs.This was practice for SSS Warrior Cats. You might see it used in the animation one day~

I use Flash. But you can do animations with a stack of note cards, you don't need a program.

I can't animate very well and I was wondering if I could use this in an animation intro, I can handle the rest of animating but I really suck at run cycles, so yeah, I was wondering if I could save this and use it.

Sure, no problem~
While cats DO push off with both back legs at the same time, the front legs do not move together. At the moment your run cycle looks like he's just lifting his front feet up and down together, it doesn't look like he is running. One arm reaches out to catch the ground as the other is being thrown forward, then that hits the ground, and the momentum of the cat moves it forward, and then its back feet hit the ground and it pushes off.
Try watching nature videos to see how cats move, that usually helps~

Well you can, but meerkats don't run the way cats do. Have you looked around on youtube/ animal planet's website or something?

I mean you can go ahead and use this as a reference but...if you're really looking to make it move like a meerkat then I don't recommend it.

You have to save it and open it in gimp or photoshop and you'll have each frame seperate ^^
