My good friend Raolin commissioned me to make a proper reference for Icicle the Icewing. So here it is!

There's not a lot of art for her which is too bad, she's definitely one of my favorite characters in WOF, I think she has a really interesting story. The pressure that her parents put onto her to be the next queen was immense, and then she also had to deal with being used by Scarlet in her plans to kill the DoD.

Icicle was always trying to be a perfect Icewing no matter what, and when she thought she had failed Scarlet's demands and Hailstorm was killed, she literally tortured herself on the volcano to stay awake so she would never have to see his dead body. That's some heavy stuff and I feel really bad for her.

In the book she's mostly described as 'pristine white' in color but I added some blue to her scales, horns and wings to give her a bit more variety in her design. Down below I added in headshots for her brothers as well. Hailstorm is always described as silver, whereas Winter is often said to have more blues in his scales.

You'll see these three again whenever I get around to doing my Icewing headshots piece!
