Oh your gawd!! This one, has been a hassle XD the beginning was fine, everything was going smoothly... then the lag started setting in. I would like to note at this point that my laptop is not very high tech. You could probably get faster work out of a crippled granny on sleeping pills. 5 minutes just to minimalize the window is not fun!!!Ugh... Having said that, I did enjoy making this thing, it was a challenging to say the least. It is my character (Iron) from Monster Hunter, fighting against a Daora.
What first inspired me was Spoonboy's Monster Hunter picture [link] .. quite the epicness i thought. I did previously own Monster Hunter before I jumped onto the DS waggon and waved farewell to the PSP. I have been missing it tremendously.
So what better way to get into the Monster Hunter spirit then to draw a great big picture XD
... and i know this is technically fan art -_-

yeah, head shots are vital against that thing. its wind sheild ability can make things complicated for the people running around with knifes

yeah pretty annoying, my first time against him I was using the rathian LS and Los armor... SO annoying... But I managed to repel him, at my first try!

Hes a though one... but on MHFO K he gets raped by almost anyone... hes easy to kill there and his armor is quite good and easy to make, in conclusion, you enter the Village and there are like all theses Kusha Armor clones XD

Thats some awesome stuff. I don't think Monster Hunter gun weapons are represented enough around here even though most look really cool. The basa armor (my fav looking armor) looks great and the Kusha is clean.

I agree with ya on the guns. They should be more out there, after all they are pretty smexy to look at. I think my favourite one has to be the Gravious Roar... SO MANY CLUSTS XD
And I AM SO GLAD someone else likes the basa armor ^_^ i thought i was alone on that one hehe. *hugs* and again, you dont really see that armor being drawn much around here.
That kusha did take a while. im not too good at drawing dragons X( but thanks for your comment ^_^
