Relatively quick follow up, in that the two main characters are set up using canned catfight poses from Darkworld on Renderosity, and the background is a who's who of characters I've used in previous Gor pics. Couldn't resist though. A bit more gritty and intimate than the more high-fantasy original.

Lothar was cunning in choosing Heile's girlfight pits on the Street of Pales as the place where he would allow Snow Larl to be pitted against Golden Beast once more. This popular gambling venue stipluated that fighting girls must be leashed and managed by handlers, who are responsible for protecting both their own and their opponent's beasts from expensive lasting injury. However, it also subtly changes the balance of the fight, since the handler's skill becomes a factor - and in Jogo, one of his trainers, Lothar had the man most believed was the best handler of pit girls in Kon.

Sure enough, though Golden Beast's barbarian wiles had once taken Snow Larl by surprise, now the two were in the hands of masters the Gorean girl had the advantage. Jogo checked Snow Larl every time the barbarian tried to attack, and drove her forward to exploit weakness unseen by Golden Beast's less talented handler. The battle was longer than their first encounter, and both pit girls were breathing heavily before the end. But at last, dashing forward at a sudden shout and lash from Jogo, Snow Larl was able to seize Golden Beast's neck. Her hands closed around the barbarian girl's throat, and the crowd roared as they realised Golden Beast no longer had the strength to prise them away. Half an ehn later, Jogo dragged Snow Larl away, the defeated barbarian unconscious beneath her.

Above the pit, Lothar exchanged glances with Kenneis of Chaat, the owner of Golden Beast. Arch rivals they might have been, but now they grinned as they met each other's gaze, for as they listened to the loudest cheers of the day, they each knew how many tarsks this rivalry was worth.

(changed the name of the Earth slave girl because I remembered they don't have the same concept of "sun" on Gor)
