Namco should take this idea and make it.
Ace Combat keeps showing us the future of those made up nations, but seeing their past history is something new, and using old planes from WW2 is a new concept they hadn't done before.

The new games take place in the real world. That why I don't like them. I liked Ace Combat not only because of the air battle simulation, but also because of this great world they made up with its own history and people with different motivations. Belka was built to be this perfect antagonistic nation, and now its gone.

Wow. Makes me wish I had the PC versions of Il-2 Sturmovik. I only have the console version, "Birds of Prey". That's the closest thing that comes to the PC games. More specifically Il-2 Sturmovik 1946. I would really love to use this skin pack for a Korean War era Ace Combat story.
