Another photo from the big cute jumping spider with his prey.

You can see the first shot here: [link]

I'm luck to see this action in my garden.

first thing I felt was a long list of words similar to "DAMN!"... mainly because I've never seen spiders devouring their prey that close, except for TV documentations and that... doesn't really count (or at least let's pretend it doesn't e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)" />)
from that point of view it's truly a great shot and you captured an impressive moment - the spider gives you/the viewer its attention and the way it holds the fly is almost similar to a dog holding a bone O_o

on a technical note, the DOF unfortunately is too shallow. especially the fact that the fly's wing is blurred is a pity, on the other hand I really like the attention on the spider's eyes - adds to the classic "ohmigawd, a spider!"-factor e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)" />
regarding the composition I do like the spider's pose but the cropping is a bit too harsh (left legs). I don't know the original measures but the classic horizontal cropping would work well enough, maybe even a more panorama-like cropping would be nice.
however, I do like the colour tones and the overall scenery and I'll definitely keep a closer eye at the microcosmos of my garden now e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)" />

Thank you so much

I used low aperture (f/16) to get a larger DoF, but at 1:1 DoF is aways a problem

I remember seeing a bee stuck in a spiders' web, heh...I wonder who got stung first.
