Hot off the presses, my take on the Crusader. I hate the Project Phoenix version. I hate it so much. That is why I drew this (also I was bored and had time to kill). Total time spent, ~1.5 hours.For those not immediately familiar with the subject matter, see here [link] .

yes the phoenix project version is horrible.
this one looks great.
but did you noticed that almost all the inner sphere
mech desings are horrible and the clan mechs are looking cool.

It's really all about who draws them. Chris Lewis, the guy who did all the Project Phoenix artwork, has been given far too much work considering how uninspired and generic his designs are. He's like CGL's own personal in-house artist, I guess.

Looks good, I always love the cuff LRMs on the Crusader, but a bit too smooth for my liking (for a battlemech)

I agree on the Project Pheonix 'Mechs, not looking good but I think it's Catalyst Labs attempt to right the wrong of using Robotech mecha for the Battletech system, but I still like the classic look, nice work!

I painted my Project Phoenix version as Strong Bad. It worked surprisingly well.
