Description
The brief for this commission was a close up of a sword, held by a woman, showing the reflection of a dragon in the blade. Is it quite a simple image but hopefully striking in it's design. As you will see I went a bit dragon mad with the details
Maybe she's friends with the dragon, maybe she's a dragon slayer? - I'll let the viewer decide.

this piece of work looks truly amazing the detail and how real it truly looks is astonishing at least for for me
but on a personal note the hilt design doesn't quite fit the sword design
this is just my opinion but i still think it doesnt fit

i recon she IS the dragon.... kinda funny, i had an idea for some kind of story that never really went anywhere about humans who became dragons like werewolves do....

Hi. I really like this artwork. To me it depicts what may be lurking within her. Had I not read your commentary, I would have thought that the sword was some type of ethereal blade, one that can reveal what lies within the beholder, even your soul. I would have thought that she was a great warrior, whom a dragon lies within her. ^_^ *sigh* I guess I was wrong.
I'd also like to humbly ask your permission to use this piece of work as my character's profile picture in an rp I belong in.

I'm may be planning to create yet another fanfic with a young girl discovering she is destined to save the world, as did her father (Wow, BIG surprise...). She discovers this by drawing the Legendary Blade - Kalenda, awakening the King of Dragons from his statue form while she was running from bandits, drawing the blade to defend herself.
So, could I use this, I will properly credit you and post a link to here, of course
