This artwork was inspired by the name of the dragonfly insect. This little creature highly magical, it lives near water and loves to fly in the moonlight.This artwork is one of a set of 8 dragon grettings card that are just out. You can see the set here on DA [link]

I love this so so so much. I had come across another artist who did a dragonfly like this, but I don't believe it had color. And I absolutely love the tons used with fantasy paintings... such as this purple. <3 I also love all your paintings of dragons... and thinking of a word where what if our smaller creatures resembled them more.. like some lizards and insects. Or even house pet sized ones. I love seeing different takes other than the strong beast who needs to be slayed.
