This is also very amazing. The painterly effect is very nice, and the rose is amazing. Just one thing - It looks a bit odd with his paws/claws/feet on the rose. Maybe you could make it a bit more like he's actually grasping onto the flower rather than just being put there? c:

Wow. I really like how you did the skin. It sort of looks like a cross between a dragon, gecko, and maybe some sort of insect (the wings). Really well done. The flower and simple background make it even better.
