I've just completed this artwork which was commissioned by Spiral for their 2008 calendar cover. The Grim Reaper is a great subject to paint
I chose an angle that looks up at the figure to emphasis the power and menace of the character.

ok, aside from the fact that the painting is awesome, is it me or that lord of time looks like he's playing air guitar on that scythe? Maybe he's playing Getar Hero: World Tour

I like the fact that you gave him pupils.
The standard emply eye socket gives him an all encompsing menace put the pupil, staring right at you, makes ot feel somewhat personal. very good.

Nice scythe! I also pictured the Grim Reaper with a hour glass, and linked to a chain on the scythe! I`m also surprised that this isn`t one of the most popular pieces of the grim reaper.

Love Grim Reaper art im still practicing myself but i have at least 4 Reapers on my bedroom wall and several in my favs excellent art i just love the amount of work that goes into your art i personally believe your art is worth quite a bit.

I don't think the grim reaper is a time and space expert, cuz he only kills and take's souls to heaven or hell or to the underworld wich is his kingdom and homeland. if you wan't to draw a time and space expert, i suggest
Kronos the master of all time. And both Kronos and the Grim Reaper are cosmic beings so that makes them Immortal from any harm. Except if you find their weaknes.
But the Grim Reaper does control the timeline of living beings if THAT'S what you meant.

Wow, the skeletal body structure, in my opinion, is just...amazing. Granted the rib cage seems abit large, though possibly because of the perspective, i'd guess.
I love the dark, ominous, under worldly, 'over lord' kinda feel it gives. Other notes: the hour glass is a nice touch.

wow nice pic i think because it has a corrupted preview you see if you have uploaded it as .gif and the pic is greater size than 150x150 pixels you have to upload another pic a .jip of any size or a .gif smaller than 150x150 to be able to view as a preview. thats all folks how that it helps
