Description
The bread-and-butter unit of the Limbo's many Shells, the Hunstman is a towering magitech machine, often looming over the horizon in distinct formations. The codifier for the Limbo's geometric-floating-stone-components design philosophies, the Hunstman is the most numerous Shell the Limbo's armies boast. An easily-identified herald of the devastation the onset of a Limbo migration can cause, Huntsmen are treated less as equipment and more as standard infantry, and indeed in many ways easily mimic and mirror such a function.A Hunstman is a versatile war machine, filling the role of a standard infantryman. Like all other Shells, a Hunstman is a lifeless magitech construct which is piloted by a Limbo, said Limbo pilot usually being situated in the "head" (or equivalent) of the construct and acting as a brain for it. Again like all other Shells, the various components of the Hunstman are strung together by black, nebulous masses, which is theorized to be composed of the same biological material as the Limbo themselves. The tenacles of a Shell (or at least, those that actually possess tentacles) are composed of this same material, as well.
Standing at over 44 meters in height, a Hunstman's towering stature essentially makes it a walking watchtower (among other things), and few things escape a Hunstman's watchful gaze. It's four shadowy tentacles are used to grab and hold objects ranging from environmental obstacles, weapons, and victims off the ground. Hunstmen typically carry around Zyoth casters, and are the most common unit fielded with that weapon. They may also be used in lieu of Harvestmen to capture large groups of victims if no Harvestmen are constructed or readily available, and the holding belts used on Harvestmen can be jury-rigged onto Hunstmen if the situation demands it.

well the whole stupid invasion thing they do is just routine for them lmao
the whole schtick with them is how unstoppable they are... at least from the perspective of low-tech civilizations. see, the limbo specifically weed out easy pickings, because their technology is only sufficient to deal with civilizations of our tech level or lower. anything higher is gonna kick their ass, so they make strategic decisions to stay out of sight and out of the way of anyone that could pose a significant threat to them
