Originally a civillian Reploid inventor called Widhalm M. Luthier, the brilliant Reploid was induced to become a fugitive after a deceitful plan of his evil-willed master, thus he spent his last years selling technology to criminals and plotting against those he believed were truly evil, that is, the Earth Council. Later, Widhalm would receive the codename "Kran" to hide his true identity while working for the Neo Maverick Army under Saturn 's leadership.
