One of the sprite conversions I made back in 2017. This is the researcher of the Maverick Virus that performs Zero's sealing in Zero's MMX6 ending .

In my comic , he is called Dr. Rubix, the Reploid who took charge of the viral researches after Dr. Doppler left. He considers calling Zero to search for the cure after X6, but since the world was in complete chaos and X had left the frontlines, he deemed to be unwise to leave the world without a protector, and so he postponed it until things were stable once again. As the attention shifted to New Generation Reploids and they supposed immunity to infection, the idea of sealing was left behind... at least until a new viral incident happens.

The last three poses here are him using the Imprison Cube, a cube-shaped energy trap that pulls Mavericks into its center and deactivates them, made only for emergencies since it forces his body too much to maintain the field.
