Original concept by . Aw, I wanted to maintain his feet like the original one, but, like in the rest of the body, I had tough times with the shape and palette.Tenebrae Equinaroid makes part of Submit Your Maverick, a community project I've started in the end of Mega Man X: Unit 49 's Season 1 to give more diversity to the Neo Maverick Army. This is beautifully done. I think my favorite thing is the way you positioned their hair. It's very dynamic. I also find the shading on the body absolutely superb. There's also so many lovely little details like the red edging on the armor and the ridges on their feet.
I really like the palette, notably the contrast between the deep blue and bright red. The only thing I can find to critique is there are a few edges that look a little sudden. The lock of hair directly above their eye, the lock directly opposite their left hand and the bottom of their left foot. You could just extend the locks of hair a little bit to make them look like they taper to a point. As for the bottom of the foot if you go a shade lighter than black I think it should fade nicely.

Being that the only other equine-based maverick is Spiral Pegacion this is a great deviation from the Mega Man X5 maverick design. The dark palette and addition of the mane and tail gives Tenebrae Equinaroid a totally different feeling from Spiral Pegacion, I really like the colour scheme of this character!
