Well, I cave in. Those spirits are called "Spirits of Vengeance". 
Sorry for pestering you. >_> Just a bit annoyed at how Warcraft 3 suddenly got a new name these days: DotA or Footman Frenzy.
(I mean, "Warcraft 3" has no quotes at all from its own units in wikiquotes, while "Footman Frenzy" have all the quotes that.. well, are from Warcraft 3. X_X; )

haha i know what you mean. I am a big fan of the Warcraft 3 game. I've stopped the ladder games and began the addictive DOTA hehe.
At one point Ive thought about what kind of unit that War3 has that isnt in DOTA and thats difficult!

Not all that you see in Warcraft is from DotA. The vengeful spirit, if you haven't forgotten already, come from the Warden's ultimate ability. Which first creates a shadow-avatar, which has the ability to resurrect corpses in the form of "Vengeful Spirits"..
Heck, I don't think DotA uses any original models.

yeah i dont think dota uses any original models. the characters there were from the 4 races including the neutral creeps, yeah and avatar of vengeance is used as the mercurial hero in dota and the spirit it resurrects becomes the character here...
