Yeah, well it's pretty old. I just finished watching the last episode today!  It's a great show and apparently the source of some childhood nightmares that I recently remembered while watching it.

Well, my dad used to watch Cowboy Bebop when I was a little kid. I don't remember seeing the show back then but I do remember having nightmares about a mutated, venomous rat on a spaceship that went around and killed everybody.  The entire crew died one by one whilst trying to find the rat in order to kill it before the rat bit them with it's poisonous "fangs". I remember that one of the crew members in my dreams looked just like Spike   and he was the last person to die. He was crawling down a tunnel with a lantern in one hand and a pistol in the other when suddenly~~ the little rat cornered and ended his life with a single bite. No one was a match for the rat.

...I mean, it sounds ridiculous now that I think about it but that scared the crap out of me when I was like 5-6.


I got a flashback of my childhood nightmare whilst watching the "Toys in the Attic" episode the other day. It comes nowhere near the level of horror I remember experiencing in my dream but I'm pretty sure that's what my nightmare was built off of.
