I need everyone's opinion in helping me decide, and even if the majority chooses one I still may end up choosing the other, I would just like to know if screen tones are worth the effort.
On the left is the screen toned version (my very first time attempting screen tones) and on the right is the one without.
Just using the screen tones (not including the drawing part of it) it takes about 1 1/2 hours for the screen toned version, about 3 times longer than it takes to just make the one without screen tones.
Which one do you prefer?

maybe If you only shadow a bit on computer. Just my opnion

you mean give it just enough shadow? I did kinda go overboard on tones there and the one without tones needs some shadow (^ ^)' thank you for your advice

Of the two, I like the screentoned, but personally, I think a mix between the two would be better.
The one with just the screentones gives a memoryish feel and the the one without feels a little bland. ^^ so...

oh yeah I see what you mean. in that setting it is night time so I was trying to go accordingly, thank you for your opinion
