I've been working on the face and hair, and this is the result... The face would be finished, but I'd like to know if I should do the shading darker, like in the original picture... I think it's not dark enough, and feels a little weird with the black hair, but maybe you guys think it's ok. If it is, I'll be working on the neck and necklace next.

Thanks! So far I used 2H, F, HB and 2B pencils. I think I never used so many kinds for a drawing!

As for your darker question--I think to be closer to the picture it should be a bit darker BUT I have to tell you from my own experience---Dark is a hard thing to fix so if you feel like it should be darker then do it GRADUALLY b/c it can turn into a disaster fast---I think its fine just the way it is to be honest. Are they judging by the reference picture?

Hehe poor you! Oh I asked for the judging. Caro says that if it's photomanip or vexels, she WILL judge from the reference picture, but if it's a drawing, it doesn't matter much.

i would make it a bit darker, too. and for me the right eye seems a bit too small. but maybe its just because of the brightness overall.

Ok, will make it darker. And I have had so much trouble with that eye! I'll try making it a big bigger, but even on the picture it looked smaller. I'll be working on that. Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated!
