The 46th RA IV Hurricane Committee has been scheduled for late March in the week of March 17 2024 when I checked the WMO's website, I learned when a hurricane name gets retired, It gets retired on a Wednesday. I'm unsure if any of the names listed in here will be retired as each hurricane caused little damage and killed less people like Hurricane Franklin caused $90 million of damage and killed 2 people, Hurricane Idalia caused $3.6 billion of damage and killed 8 people and Hurricane Lee caused $50 million of damage and killed 3 people. Plus the WMO are starting to run out of names that start with the letter I, Ian was retired last year and replaced with Idris. I have a feeling Idalia could be retired by March 20 since when a hurricane name gets retired, It gets retired on a Wednesday like how Fiona and Ian got retired on March 29 on a Wednesday last year. What do you think? I think Franklin, Idalia and Lee might get retired on March 20. My characters Franklin, Idalia and Lee want their own names retired since they are basically the judges here.
