Have all come out tonight
The fireflies that compose sonnets
The hag with the silver sewn shoes
The goblins that stitch baby’s bonnets
Are traveling here tonight
Jade crystal dragon flies cross Emerald moats
Diamond tipped hummingbirds, sapphire boats
Carrying cargo of gossamer coats
Are sailing this way tonight
Girls born from flowers and princes with wings
Taking haunted dollhouses and enchanted rings
Carried by bluebirds, tied down with silk strings
Are parting the clouds tonight
Cooking with wine barrels and marmalade tarts
Princesses carried by sedans and carts
Mice pulling carriages made out of glass
Make way, they’re coming tonight
Out of the spot behind the shadows
Down from the painting on the wall
The doll maker, shoemaker, Name taker, Oath breaker,
Wicked witch in her rocking chair
Maiden with the mile long hair
Fly from the storybook into the air
