Description
Shiro spent too much time alone.

He didn't have the courage to face his family again, not after the whole Smilodemon ordeal. That day he lost the love of his life. He pushed away his cousin, he turned his back on his family and ran towards Hel's Gate. The southern part of the valley was dangerous and more often than not eerily empty. Many feared approaching the gates, both due to their ominous presence and to the Polar Bear deities.

The South was harsh, many died there, few survived. Still, with nowhere to go and feeling ashamed of his actions, Shiro lingered around the gate.

For some reason the Deities left him alone. Maybe it was the blue on his fur, forever tainted, even after washing at the Udori caves. After so many years, he couldn't decide if they were a blessing or a curse, seeing as he was treated with respect by any who saw him (all of those fools who don't even know his name...). But still, memories of that day still flooded his mind. The rage, the feeling of loss.

Half buried in the soft snow, Shiro didn't take notice of the meteor, slowly approaching him, until it was close.
