I'm sorry...I just HAD to do this
For those who might not get it...
Voice Actor Dante Basco = both Jake Long and Prince Zuko
Voice Actor Mae Whitman = both Rose and Katara.
And after watching both cartoons, you can see situational coincidences that are just plain funny.
(Avatar is owned by Nickelodeon, Jake Long is owned by Disney)
EDIT 7/17/2006 : not exactly avatar related but I noticed disney channel decided to pull a fast one and change the cartoon style of Jake Long.

Yay! at first this scared me because it could be a sign of the horrible (zutara) so now I've started watching american dragon, and in a newer episode, rose vaporized herself so...I hope thats a good sign.

She didn't vaporize herself. Jake sacraficed his relationship with her in order to give her a normal life. It was a fantastic episode.

i was thinking that its funny that those 2 voice actors get to play zuko and katara and rose and jake
and it gave me an idea for a pic lol but u beat me to it lol^_^ altough i couldnt tell it was zuko's at 1st for jake cause he sounds very diff but i could regonize katara as rose right away!!

If you close your eyes and ignore some of the dialog, you can pretend like it's Katara and Zuko declaring their love for one another.

Man this one is super funny I love it Zuko and Katara yelling at them to knock it off really funny. Both shows are good but I like Avatar more. American dragon has a lot of good comedy though its amazing how Dante switches from an angry jerk to a carefree slang person lol anyway this is awesome and very funny ^_^

Yeah, people are going all up in the hizzy with their non-canon stuff. But ah, I've learned not to take it so seriously.
Let em do what they want, if it bothers you so, it always helps to avoid it, and I know it can be annoying.
But I guess rememberin' why we love avatar, rather than why we hate people who do things with it, is more enjoyable :3

Whenever I think of Zuko, I think of that one movie he was in called Take The Lead or soemthing. :3 And I can imagine Zuko dancing like that. <3 And now I find out he's the voice of Jake Long?!?! (even if I don't watch that show)
And whenevr I think of Katara I think of arrested developtment because the voicey girl is the ugly girlfriend that no one cares to even know her name on there. And now I find out she's the voice of Rose?! (I still don't watch that show. :0)

yah that annoyed me! I was a bit confused and you can hardly tell what any of the characters are now b/c of the new art style (I'm such a nerd I watch ADJL just for the Jake Rose thing because Zutara is still not in avatar yet XP please somebody GET ME A LIFE!!!)
