Yay! Colored.
(Teh old Pimpmasters with their young selves BD )
ye gads, since I have no photoshop or tablet,
coloring this traditionally by hand using diluted white acrylic is like...
trying to make gourmet spam out of a raw,frozen piece of pork.
(and no, I don't know how that analogy makes any sense
)One single slip of the hand, and it would have ended up dead.
But anyway, I'm happy with it. *coughDespitethe BS'edMaleanatomycough*
Like I said, Pakku, Bumi, Gyattso, Roku, Jeong-jeong, and Iroh are (c) to Mike and Bryan. This is fanart So don't nobody sue me please :3. They probably didn't even look anything like this, I simply took 'artistic liberties'
I think we'll all find out someday what they REALLY looked like...the day I can put my head between my legs and shout "CANONBAAALLL!!"
and oyeah, it took twice as many pounds of awesome Native Radio Chanting + J-pop music + Male Vocal orchestra instrumentals + Miyazaki music to ignite the supernova starburst of energy/inspiration out of me to color this as it did to sketch it owO;;;

The coloring is okay though a little sloppy. Some of the fingers the men such as Roku and Pakku look slightly odd. Good job on the expressions though.

I don't care what you say about your skill level in this medium, the colors are amazing. You did an amazing job transcribing the characters as well, in my opinion.
Certainly one of the best Avatar pieces I've seen to date!

Vert good!!! You can see the intensity in the picture when they were younger in there eyes. When there older there intensity swifts to a more focus and centered feeling. They now know what they are believe in and you can feel it just by looking at it. Excellent picture!!

I love Isaia for blessing my eyes with her pretty-fullest picture ever ( even though I lurve all her work). Thanks to her, I think Roku>Zuko. I mean, look at him ( the older one included.)
But besides that, this is absolutely fantastic, and all the character designs are sublime. Honestly, I have a need to admire this piece at LEAST once a day. Keep on kicking ass, baby!

I don't remember if I left a comment earlier but I was just looking at this pic again and find that I appreciate all the more now that I'm trying to get an idea of how to draw Master Pakku. I seem to like it more with each view but I really like Iroh!
It's a pic of his normal calmself in the present but the way you drew him when he was younger almost give him a mischievious and wild spirit! I love it because it sort of connects to his present personality. He's calm and collective but every now and then, you'll see spirts of his "younger" persona pop out.
Plus, I just love his character period!

I've never seen the show this came from; but I love the way you captured the expressions. I had no idea if these were sons and fathers or not, but the expression made it obvious that if they were, the apple fell disturbingly close to the tree. The colouring simply amaxing, also. Excellent job!
