Prince Naveen from Disney's "Princess and the Frog" Royal Family Tree.
LOLOL Besides arguing how NOTblack!!!1 Naveen is, people also argue about what the heck kind of fictional country Maldonia really is, if he's SpanishPortugueseBrazilian something (based on his accent) or ArabicIndianMorrocoAlgerian something (based on his facial features and name). LOLHAY HOW ABOUT HE'S ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL THINGS, GUISE? :3

Not to mention he's a great character with an actual personality yayyyy
Even if it's haphazard, it has some interesting potential for backstory.

A real couple from different dynasties and continents, interesting, I always liked finding the name of the Prince in the least different for a European nobleman. Disney could work better on books, or on animations that continued where the movie stopped.

I agree with this. Facilier says Naveen is "from across the sea," and Naveen is distinctly Latin in his looks and accent. Maldonia probably has Spanish roots, so it certainly would be possible for Naveen to have Arabic ancestry, seeing as Spain has cultural connections there.

He is such a wonderful character and I love the details and beautiful designs you've put into his family tree! They're so lovely and I can tell you put a lot of thought and love into this. This is magnificent and beautiful. I love the color and tone of the paper you used to give it an "official", antique look. There's nothing like dedication to one's fandom and stories- and yours is a good example.

Thank you for this! I can't believe some people couldn't grasp that Naveen was not intended to be any one specific, real-world race. This is a cool potential backstory. I could definitely see him as mixed-race.
