SPOILERS MAYBE? IDKffffff I are geeking out hard over this movie. (Uploaded a couple days ago to 's lovely spam party.
Prince Naveen from Disney's "Princess and the Frog" Royal Family Tree.
LOLOL Besides arguing how NOTblack!!!1 Naveen is, people also argue about what the heck kind of fictional country Maldonia really is, if he's SpanishPortugueseBrazilian something (based on his accent) or ArabicIndianMorrocoAlgerian something (based on his facial features and name). LOLHAY HOW ABOUT HE'S ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL THINGS, GUISE? :3

Not to mention he's a great character with an actual personality yayyyy
Even if it's haphazard, it has some interesting potential for backstory.

That is one family tree of awesome (like others have said). I really like the sketchy style and colors. It makes it seem almost portrait-like. I can really see his family being mixed.
I also like the attention to the detail of the garments and hair. This is very georgous!

Naveen is the prince I have loved the most since Beast. And Beast came to be a long, long time ago. Maybe Aladdin (if he counts, not sure). But... wow. I love what you did here. Quite a lovely family tree. Love the little brother. :3 Made me laugh and squee in the two seconds he was in the movie

Personally, Naveen is one of the best princes who created Disney, has personality, charisma, grace, and unlike other male characters disney, we can see his maturation throughout the film.
But the real star of the film was undoubtedly Raymond and Evangeline, his end was perfect and romantic, even if I could, I would not change anything.
And in other things, your work remains beautiful as ever.

unfortunately yes, the idea was a good one, it started out well, but then it became obvious it was terrible.
I DO support continuation of stories, but not for the sake of making money and making half-hearted crappy straight to DVD ones where quality and story is sacrificed.

first of all, his accent, and light dialogue is FRENCH not hispanic or portugese and his name- Naveen- though probably not originally french, is a very popular french name now-a-days

n thanks for the info, tho I think the dialogue is a fictional Italian based language, and Naveen knows French from Ray's creole singing. XD
The accent was done by voice actor can Bruno Campos doing an impression of his Brazilian Dad, lol
"Naveen" also means "new" in Hindi, another version of "Navin" (?)

well...uh... yeah, i have no idea what "ashidanza" means lol but i was referring to him translating that song. and he's catholic... a common trait in french folk (they get married in the New Orleans Cathedral... but i guess hispanics/italians are catholic too)
the only reason i know naveen as a french name is beause my mom is, and she has a brother named naveen and knows like two other guys by the name. Plus we're from new orleans and the french folk dont deem it uncommon.
i think we can all agree that he's just from super duper hot-man land and tiana's a lucky waitress. but ur right. disney has totally opened a can of worms. should they do a straight to video sequel (which they prolly will do) lets hope its about Naveen and his family... id totally watch it and hate myself for it.
