That's because when I was modeling her, I tried to make her look like a Dissidia character, I even used ripped Dissidia models for references. ^^
You could say this is what Rinoa could look like if she was included in Dissidia/Dissidia 012.

she wouldn;t have a stylized costume? well I suppose the main characters in 012 didn;t either which is a bit of a shame really. tho they had alternate costumes.

Most of the main character's stylized costumes are based off their Amano artwork. For example, Tidus' default costume was based off this: [link] so if Rinoa had a stylized costume it would be based off this: [link] which isn't exactly much different from her original other than it being orange instead of blue.

The costumes were so they'd fit in with the world dissidia was set in. I kinda liked how they changed their outfits a bit in the first game~. I wonder if they want to make more games like those in the ivalice series.

sorry I think I said that wrong. uh the tactics games and ff12 and stuff like that. they've repeated the same world since the fans seem to like it. a few of the other games are supposedly sequals, prequals, spin offs and the like.
p.s. just saw the other image. awesome. they also had a few extra costumes like

Don't really know much about FF12 either, never played it, wish I did though.
As for Rinoa's alternate costumes, There's her default FF8 costume, her Amano costume,
her ballroom dance costume, and as for her last costume, I'm thinking this: [link] Square Enix did hold the competition for this.

I remember that. Though the costumes are usually character based like say... her mothers red dress, or a military outfit, oooor something like the sorceresses wore... that;s a stretch.

Rinoa wearing her mother's dress is a possibility, and a military outfit (assuming it would be like her father's) is not likely. lol
True, some costumes are usually character based, but tell that to Lightning's Aya Brea outfit, or even Shantotto's costumes from various costume packs from FF11. ^^

haha yeah there's a lot that's straight up fanservice. An unlikely one is the space suit. it would be fun tho. military as in the timber soldiers, some pseudo resistance uniform, even a SeeD uniform. like I said it;s a stretch they have too many other possibilities to consider any of em tho it would be nice.

she poses as a fellow SeeD for a little while so you can pretend they had to line up in their uniforms and Rinoa "borrowed" one. Ultimicia wore a "corpse" for an alternate costume so it;s "possible"

I know 012 didn;t introduce any new bad guys but in the first game they were paird with ther nemesis from the game.

Sure Ultimecia's Edea costime was called that, but in all technicality, Edea's not dead so I don't understance why they would call her costume that. lol
I'd say Ultimecia should be her enemy, I know Tifa was first in line, but come on, "Sorceress VS Sorceress" here!

It was likely just a joke however it;s possible ultimecias using her time travel technique and is actually inside edeas body and not just wearing a costume XD.

Oh I'm pretty sure the Edea costume was to reference Ultimecia controlling her, but calling the costume a corpse is just confusing and kinda funny. ^^
If Seifer was in Dissidia, he'd definitely be Squalls nemesis, while Rinoa's would be Ultimecia. "Sorceress Knight VS Sorceress Knight" and "Sorceress VS Sorceress"

it;s a shame squall and ultamecia have already been paired up. well we can use some creative license to change that I guess. I did kinda wanna add more villians tho and Raijin and fuujin are my fave characters ever :I

Raijin and Fuujin and kinda less likely. They'd only have 2 possible costumes, and their moveset is, well they lack one.

They do have a move set tho. a limited one. I just like em... they could be support characters tho... I kinda wish they were allies in kingdom hearts... seifer needs to get hit by a heartless and have vivi and co go rescue him.
as for costumes: school uniform, ingame, amano inspired, kingdom hearts, galbadian soldiers, etc.
ugh the entire cast of 8 (bar irvine) were awesome. I still dream about remaking that game and tweaking the battle system so it gets the love it deserves.

If they were Assist-Only characters, then that's very likely. ^^
Costume-wise, All they would have is their original and KH costumes, they don't exactly have amano artworks to base another costume from, plus galbadian soldier uniforms are kinda out there. lol

They joined the galbadian army for a little while so it;s not that much of a stretch. I also said amano >inspired< costumes since I know theres no amano works of these two. If seifer makes it in theres a possibility of them I supose but I do kinda doubt it... I can hope tho.
