And, seconds after I ask you where is the original, I find it... It is really intense seeing how much you have improved!! Makes me wonder what my work will look like a year from now, or four years from now, or ten years from now- there's no way to find out but to keep drawing!! As Kimon Nicolaides said in his book, The Natural Way to Draw, the only way to learn how to draw is to draw. Thanks for sharing, Isaiah, this is really inspiring!!

Skill wise, the new one looks nice, but character wise, I like the old one. Lily looks to young in the new one, with no real defining face shape (like the old one has), and James looks to pretty (lol), and doesn't have the characteristic "messy, untamable hair" the old one has. Again, they both look nice. Just maybe try to get more 'flaws' in, if you know what I mean

The first one has great texture to them, it makes it look more realistic. The new one doesn't.

i think you made great progress, but i actually like the old one better! the new one is really modern fashioned, i don't know how to explain it in english, but uhm. the new one kind of looks like 2 persons you could see when you cross the street, because nowadays almost everyone looks like that. The old one has his own charm

I really think that you have improved a lot! But..I dislike all the makeup that lily has. She doesn't strike me as that kind of person and it seems wrong on her, like it belongs more on someone on 17 magazine.
