I really can't be the only person who did this...I have nothing but praise for Bethesda's Fallout 3. Really they were the only company I could see doing a successful 'nextgen' fallout game. There are of course always things to gripe about... like ungrateful bums who can never get enough handouts. (Though now that I think about it, that is kinda realistic...)

If you nuke megaton then use one of these guys to restore your karma then three dog's news reports start sounding a little strange.

Don't feel bad - my girlfriend said the same thign to me until she got asked that question by the same bum like 6 times before she unloaded a round from the Gauss Rifle into said bum's head.
LOL I just looked at her and imitated her voice as I said "Was that the right thing to do?"...which I do NOT reccommend and of you guys try - it lead to a half hour of being chased by a pissed off girlfriend who grabbed my kendo stick. LOL my own fault admittedly - she HATES being imitated.

oh no, you're not the first to do that... or maybe you are... eh, I tried killing Lucky Harith and his guard outside Megaton, and Charlie got up to run into Megaton, and I couldn't have that... so I loaded a Combat Shotgun shell into his back. XD but hey, he's a good source of Good Karma, and I don't use those purified waters that my butler gives me.

actually he was put there so the player can give him as much water the character pleases because everytime you give him water , your karma goes up.
its a pretty easy way to get karma points since pure water is free when you live in megaton.

I agree - Bethesda really went over the top to tempt you with choices that lose your karma but then when you turn around you have a chance to regain some of that lost karma back(church donation, giving water to a bum, etc.)

You know what I never understood. Why doesn't he just go inside Megaton!!!. Theres shelter and food, I'm pretty sure he could just steal things from people.

I do like how characters would randomly die in the wasteland. Found many-a caravan trader dead on the trail.

You have to be careful when you use the mezz. Save before you use it, since it takes usually three random tries to get the right setting. Sometimes it'll just kill him but other times it'll stun him enough to slip the collar on him.

Same with meh, I did that... only with an augmented sniper rifle. Took all my damn Purified water! Thats why I have a house in megaton with a butler that gives me unlimited purified waters.
