As a Helasdottir, I really appreciate this... she has such depth to herself that few understand or even want to. Most people's depictions are greys, black and white. I like that you added the colors and still easily manage to convey her simple intensity. The coloring doesn't take away from Her Message, either. lol it cracks me up how Heathens try to ignore or barely honor her. She is the Keeper of much of our Dead. So silly

Very interesting interpretation.
I like the colors and the life. The effects are stunning.
It's an interesting idea to use red and blue instead of black and white as so many others. As I remember Hel's apperance could be translateds as halfly with the rosy glow of life and halfly with the blackish blue as a corpse.
I'm not fond of the blurriness of the forgrounds framework, my eyes tries to focus on it and can't :/

Hel! Now there's a delighful Godess which I sadly ever acknowledge.
Impressive portrait of her, to say the least. She does not carry her half old/half young face, but it is lovely still.
